One of the newest boats from European builder Dufour Yachts, the Dufour 45 Performance is designed for fast cruising. But it’s also intended to comfortable, with a choice of a three- or four-cabin and two-head layouts.

Before my flight home from Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, as the Strip was fast becoming packed with revellers — some of whom would be in a black-out state in mere hours — I took a trip out to the Trump Hotel. As a fan of the Apprentice and of Trump’s audacious personality and success, I had to give it a visit. If you’ve been, you’ll know it’s a ways off the strip and is without a casino. I noticed a massive lot and destitute, undeveloped parking lot to the property’s east. I couldn’t help but notice a seemingly-halted development in the distance as well.
Vegas is an ever-changing city with the old, underperforming properties swept out of the way in favour of new, more entertaining moneymakers — as ideal as capitalism can get – but Vegas, like all cities, has felt the gut-punch of last year’s recession. Watchers will undoubtedly be interested in how the town pulls off CityCenter, a 76-acre, $11 billion project of condos and hotels.
Miles Davis covers Human Nature. I haven’t seen it done by anyone else. You can’t say a cover by Davis would be anything but an honest one.
